Walk the old lanes before the day warms, visit the local folklore collection and notice the wells, arches and house fronts that reveal how the village worked before cars reshaped it.
Choose one craft, not five
Spend time with a ceramicist, food producer or guide rather than collecting brief stops. The value is in the conversation: clay bodies, olive harvests and family recipes carry the landscape more clearly than a shelf of objects.
Lunch under trees
Continue towards a village square where the menu follows the garden and the oven. Order slowly, then leave time for an inland route back through Stylos and the foothills.
A driver is a good choice if everyone wants to share wine at lunch; otherwise the loop is comfortable by rental car.
